1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Veritise ApS (“Veritise”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with the operation of the Veritise platform and the Veritise marketing website at veritise.dk.

Where Veritise processes personal data on behalf of a customer using the Veritise platform, Veritise acts as a data processor and the customer is the data controller. The processing terms applicable in that role are set out in the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) referenced in our Terms and Conditions, clause 8.

2. Personal data we collect

2.1 Information you give us. When you contact us, request a demo, or sign up for the platform, we collect your name, work email, company name, job title, and any message you choose to send.

2.2 Information collected automatically. When you visit veritise.dk, we collect limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer). We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

2.3 Information from the Veritise platform. When you use the platform itself, we process customer data on behalf of the customer organisation as set out in the DPA. The customer is the data controller for that data.

3. Why we process personal data

We process personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

to respond to enquiries and arrange demos (legitimate interest, and contract performance where applicable);
to deliver, secure, and improve the platform (contract performance);
to comply with legal obligations under Danish and EU law (legal obligation); and
to send transactional communications about the service (contract performance).

4. Where data is stored

All personal data is stored and processed within the European Economic Area. We will not transfer personal data outside the EEA without your prior written consent and the implementation of appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR.

5. Sub-processors

We engage carefully selected sub-processors to deliver the platform. The current list is maintained in the Data Processing Agreement available to customers. We update the list in accordance with the notice provisions set out in the DPA.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to deliver the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer data submitted through the Veritise platform is retained in accordance with the customer's instructions under the DPA.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). To exercise any of these rights, contact info@veritise.dk.
